Act 1: Rendezvous and Revelations
Our band of bold operatives converges at Club Titan on January 15th, 2198, at the lazy hour of 1:30 PM, where the air buzzes with leftover nightlife vibes and the promise of fresh intrigue. From there, they plunge into the Techscape District—the cybernetic core of Lumina, alive with towering skyscrapers that house HelixTech and ZenithCorp, their labs pulsing like hearts of steel amid holographic ads and AR spectacles. The party's target: Tomas's apartment in one of those gleaming megatowers, a fortress of innovation riddled with gang-fueled power plays between the Iron's cyber grip and the Savage Huns' encroaching fury.
In the lobby, Sam's keen eye snags a shady vending machine peddling wrapped clothing items, each stamped with tiny face pics—like bootleg celeb merch from the city's underbelly. He spots socks bearing Minxxy's own mug, priced at a measly 10 Chrones. Minxxy fumes, claiming no cut of the profits, and in a burst of rage, smacks the machine. Out tumbles a pair of shorts, wrapped with Amarosa's sultry catfolk visage—the hot tub stream queen herself. Minxxy hurls them away in disgust, the group's first taste of the entertainment world's sleazy side hustle.
Where the socks actually Minxxy? Is there someone, or a group, raiding certain types of streamers for their goodies? Or, is it all just a scam? Who knows...
Act 2: Knocks and Narrow Escapes
Posing as apartment hunters, the crew goes to tour a vacant unit, but they skip the help kiosk for the megatower. They instead milled about in the hallway like casual attendants hanging out. Lililya knocks on a neighbor's door, slipping him 9 Chrones for a quick Q&A session, while Minxxy hands over a promo pen etched with her stream deets—spreading her brand one scribble at a time. Intel gathered, apparently 🎵🎸Tony's Pizza is the pizza, it is the pizza for you and me...🎸🎵 They head to the elevators, only to find sKitz Shade lurking inside, the Rippers' own rap phantom with a grin like shattered chrome. This eerie wordsmith, whose beats weave tales of kidnaps and twisted implants, greets them warmly, hinting he's off to visit a "friend" for some "pleasure and pleasure"—a veiled nod to his gang's brutal harvest rituals, leaving victims ripped and ruined. As one of Override's Elite with a side gig in macabre music, he gifts Lililya five tickets to his upcoming show in the NanoForge Industrial Zone, where his haunting tracks rally the Revenants and echo the gang's metallic menace.
The party rides up, exiting on Tomas's floor. Sam pries open a vent, dispatching Alessio's R.A.T. drone to scout for entry points, but the bot comes up empty. Lililya fumbles a hotwire attempt on the door lock, accidentally killing power to a nearby vending machine instead. Alessio steps up, hacking the system, and the door swings wide.
Act 3: Searches and Schemes
Alessio, Minxxy, and Lililya dive into the apartment's depths, while Sam and Theodore stand guard like sentinels in the hall. Amid the clutter, Alessio uncovers files: One on Aeva, praising her talent and looks but damning her low profits; another glowing for Vespera Fury, the Savage Huns-affiliated pop rebel; and a dense Nebula Synthetics doc, thick with legalese that defies quick decoding. Clues suggest Tomas (or Kyle, or Keith?) shares space with a young girl, her room dotted with fan trinkets supposedly hinting at a hidden domestic side. They trash the place, making it seem as a standard break in. As they slip out, passing sKitz's floor, radio chatter crackles—LCPD static, perhaps chasing the Ripper's latest "pleasure" trail. Outside, three cop cars idle curbside, engines growling like watchful beasts.
The crew retreats to Aeva's pad in Biotech Haven, that opulent playground of mega towers, rooftop parks, and thumping clubs where elites mingle and BioPunks peddle illicit enhancements from the fringes. Aeva promises her lawyer will crack the Nebula doc, revealing Tomas likely stashes real dirt in his office storage. Her tip: Infiltrate by booking a meet, with someone posing as a rising star. All eyes turn to Minxxy. Back at Club Titan, the plan gels—Minxxy as the aspiring entertainer, Theodore her slick manager. Lililya whips up promo sites for both, hyping Minxxy's streams and Theodore's rep. Theodore browses Minxxy's stream clips putting together a dope ass highlight reel to send to Tomas. Theodore dials Tomas's office, charming secretary Jacob into forwarding Minxxy's clips and details for review. Jacob warns it'll take a couple days for a callback.
What’s Next?
Will Tomas find profit in Minxxy? Will the Nebula secrets unravel a corporate storm, or will sKitz's shadows pull the crew deeper into Ripper webs? Stay locked to the voice of the neon streets—the city's rhythm races on, and so do its revelations.
This has been your neon-soaked recap, brought to you by the voice of the streets. Stay sharp, and keep your comms on. Lumina City never sleeps. Oh, if you happen to come across one of those vending machines with Amarosa...stuff...let ya boy know! I know a guy that would flip for it!
