Homeless

Your parents were homeless. You lived in abandoned cars, dumbsters, or abandoned shipping module if luck smiled down upon you. You grew up on the streets, often cold and hungry, but you learned a lot. You know the streets, the alleyways, and the environment. You are accutely aware of the true nature of the streets that others never see. You likely didn't go to school at all. At most, you may would have had Public School through 3rd grade.

Part Timers

Your parents couldn't hold down a full time job. At best, you grew up in the NanoForge Industrial Zone but it is likely you grew up in the Undercity Slums. Cheap, questionable, food was the typical meal. Public High School would have been very difficult for your parents to afford, it is likely you dropped out.

8 to 5'ers

Your parents held down a typical 8-5 job. You likely grew up in an apartment in any lower mid-level apartments scattered throughout the city. You could have attended Public School, maybe a Public University depending on your parents lifestyle choices.

Gang Family

One or both of your parents were members of one of the gangs. You can roll on the Gang Affiliation table or pick one. It was quite the violent childhood, but the other gang members treated you mostly well. You knew they had your back, even if they teased you. You learned how to fight at a young age. You parents could barely afford Public High School, much likely any higher learning. Most gang kids drop out and find their home in the gang. In Lumina City, street smarts is far more valuable than anything in a book.

Mid-Tier Entertainers

One or both of your parents were mid-tier entertainers. They weren't exactly famous, but had a decent sized following. They could probably afford to send you to private school with some sacrifices and moderate lifestyle choices.

Superstar Entertainers

One or both of your parents were superstars! Famous entertainers known world-wide! You had a luxurious lifestyle though your parents might not have been around much. You know with touring and all. And then there were the paparazzi!

MegaCorp Techs

A pretty nice,3 bedroom 2 bath, apartment in Data Nexus. Went to public school, but it was in Data Nexus so it wasn't really all that dangerous. While they couldn't afford nice cars or the latest trendy clothes, you still had more than most at school

MegaCorp Managers

Well to do, managed to secure a decent sized house in Nova Heights. Definitely wasn't the biggest or most luxurious home, but it was still nice and comfortable. Maybe had private security at the house, but they didn't really follow you everywhere.

MegaCorp Execs

One or both of your parents were executives at one of the MegaCorps. You had a very luxurious life, though you might have been pressured to persue corprate life. Private security, home in Nova Heights, the top of the top.
