Lifestyles in Lumina City vary from person to person and from neighborhood to neighborhood. It all depends on where you're from, who you are, and who you know.

     Life in the slums is hard, dirty, and many turn to crime and gangs. There is a lot of resentment towards the MegaCorps and others. Whereas life in the other areas is easier. It may not be the life of luxury, but at least you're not in a tiny cramped apartment that only fits one bed or sleeping on the streets.

     The people in Lumina look out for themselves first and foremost. If it doesn't involve them or concern them, they simply do not care. Socially, it is a hard city. No one is going to help you, why would they? Why risk your neck to help someone else's problems when you have your own problems? So, if you come here looking for a hand out; you'll find yourself sleeping on the streets in no time.

     While people may not be friendly to one another, there are still true friendships to find here. It is hard to build it, but it makes it that more special. Gang members have each others back. As long as a member doesn't break the gang rules, their gang will have their back. This alone is a major attraction for possible recruits. The sense of family, having back up on the tough streets, ability to make money, it's hard to pass up. MegaCorps support each other to an extent. Nothing like the gangs. You're coworkers will back you up until they become at risk. There is a lot of money to be made at the MegaCorps. Competition is fierce. You're work friend will bury you to get that promotion. There are risks, but it is life changing money. Don't forget about the power that comes with each promotion.

     In Lumina, style is everything. Style over substance is the name of the game. People judge each other based mostly on their fashion style. Whether you goth, punk, hip-hop, street, or formal, doesn't matter. You must be stylin' and profile'n the latest threads. You're look will do wonders.

     Now, the poverty gap in Lumina is wild. The cities rich and elite live in Nova Heights. This has led to the term "Nova" being used in day to day conversation to describe something as being cool or awesome. Nova Heights might as well be it's own city within Lumina City. Life there is the complete opposite from the rest of the city. Clean air, real plants, huge mansions, and virtually no threat walking the streets. While other districts may be nice, they pale in comparison. The rich and elite run the city with access to many services that are way out of the price range of your average citizen. Designer Babies, expensive medical procedures, and neural backups.

     Overall, Lumina City is the place you can be whatever you want to be as long as you're willing to work for it. If you do nothing, you get nothing in return.
