Session 1 Recap: Neon Nights and Deadly Fights in Lumina City

January 1–9, 2198

Welcome, thrill-seekers, to the electrifying premiere of Lumina City! Your host, the voice of the neon streets, is here to recap the chaos, betrayal, and pulse-pounding action that lit up the night. Buckle up—this is no ordinary tale. In the shadow of Lumina's glowing spires, six brave souls took their first steps into a world where every choice could be their last. Let’s roll the tape!

Act 1: A Bloody Pickup in Aurora District (January 1, 2198)

The clock struck 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day, 2198, and the comms of our ragtag crew buzzed with a cryptic message from Miss Eve, their sharp-tongued liaison. The offer? A cool 700 Chrones—upped from 680 after Pathemy Sharma’s silver-tongued haggling—to fetch a package from Malcom Reese in the Aurora District and deliver it to Mrs. Li in DataNexus. Minxxy, ever the opportunist, pushed for half upfront, but Miss Eve held firm: pay on delivery, no exceptions.

Our crew—Alessio, Lililya, Minxxy, Sam, Pathemy, and Theodore—hit the neon-soaked streets of Aurora, where danger hums like a live wire. They reached Malcom Reese’s apartment, only to stumble into a nightmare: Malcom’s body, mutilated and blood-soaked, his implants torn out by sKitz, a high-ranking Ripper gang enforcer. The scene was a butcher’s canvas, and sKitz stood tall, a predator in the neon haze.

Lililya, a Ripper herself, earned the group a pass as sKitz recognized her. But trouble wasn’t done with them yet. LCPD officers stormed in, catching the crew beside the corpse. Tensions spiked—until Theodore, convincing the cops they were just bystanders. The police scanned their biometrics, searched them, were a bit more rough with Alessio than the other, but froze when Lililya dropped sKitz’s name. Fear flashed in their eyes, and they bolted, leaving the crew shaken but free.

As they slipped out with the package, they crossed paths with Iron gang members, rivals to Lililya’s Rippers. Eyes locked, but no blood was spilled—not yet. The crew delivered the package to Mrs. Li in DataNexus, pocketing 700 Chrones from Miss Eve. A clean job.

Intermission: A Week of Shadows (January 2–8, 2198)

The neon dimmed as the crew retreated to their lives. Alessio, slaved away at the clinic. Sam and Theodore clocked hours at HelixTech, navigating corporate drudgery. Lililya ran with the Rippers, her fists ever-ready. Minxxy streamed her exploits, her audience growing with every sultry post. Pathemy rallied crowds, his protests a spark in Lumina’s underbelly. Seven days of grinding, scheming, and surviving—business as usual in this city of endless hustle.

Act 2: A Deadly Dance at the Golden Lounge (January 9, 2198)

The comms buzzed again on January 9th, summoning the crew to Club Titan, where Miss Eve awaited with a high-stakes gig. This wasn’t just a job—it was a test to see if they could climb Lumina’s brutal ladder. The client, shrouded in mystery, wanted Aeva Nocturne, a singer whose angelic melodies captivated the city, silenced—preferably dead or voiceless. The price? A mere 1,000 Chrones. The crew didn’t blink. They accepted and headed to the Golden Lounge to scope their target.

Aeva Nocturne glided through the Lounge, her elegance a stark contrast to the city’s grit. Lililya and Theodore blended into the crowd downstairs, watching her every move. Sam, Alessio, and Minxxy slipped to the rooftop, waiting for Aeva’s smoke break. Unknown to the group, this wasn't Aeva's first rodeo. Alessio’s masked silhouette—scarf billowing, pressed against the glass—screamed trouble. Aeva’s bodyguards, spooked, moved to whisk her away.

Sam blocked their exit, all muscle and defiance. Minxxy struck first, her throwing knife slicing into a bodyguard. The rooftop erupted into chaos. Bullets flew, and Aeva herself drew a pistol, blasting Alessio to Dying 3, teetering on death’s edge. A bodyguard dropped Minxxy cold. Sam, battered and bleeding, stood his ground but was seconds from collapse. Lililya and Theodore charged up via elevator, only to find the fight lost. Outgunned, they surrendered.

But Aeva, ever the enigma, saw potential in the crew’s grit. As they limped away, she tossed Sam a lifeline: a job offer, with pay hinting to dwarf Tomas’s mere 1,000 Chrones. The crew, battered but intrigued, returned to Club Titan to face Miss Eve. In a bold move, they chose Aeva’s offer, setting a meet with the singer for the following week.

What’s Next?

The neon heart of Lumina City beats on, and our crew’s fate hangs in the balance. Will Aeva Nocturne’s offer lead to riches or ruin? Can Lililya navigate the Ripper-Iron rivalry without dragging her allies into a street war? Tune in next week, when the crew meets the elegant Aeva, whose classical melodies hide a dangerous edge.

In Lumina City, every note could be a death knell.

This has been your neon-soaked recap, brought to you by the voice of the streets. Stay sharp, and keep your comms on. Lumina City never sleeps.
