Synopsis
Kenny Scott and Michael Jones, two laid-back skater stoners, live for three things: skating, chilling, and getting high. But their mellow vibes are about to go up in smoke when a bizarre infestation of tiny, ravenous slime monsters emerges from the sewers of Lumina City!
Armed with only their wits, their boards, and a whole lot of premium-grade herbal inspiration, the duo stumbles upon an unconventional discovery—pot smoke is toxic to the slimes. What starts as a typical lazy day at the skate park turns into a full-blown baked battle for survival.
As the city gets overrun with gooey creatures, Kenny and Michael—alongside a ragtag team of misfits including a paranoid conspiracy theorist, a badass roller derby girl, and an AI-powered snack vending machine—must rally their forces. Their mission? To smoke out the enemy, save the skate park, and maybe make it to the convenience store before munchies kick in.
cast and characters
Kenny Scott (played by Jonah Cruz) – A chill skater who just wants to vibe but somehow keeps ending up in life-threatening situations.
Michael Jones (played by Xavier “X” Reynolds) – Kenny’s best friend, a goofy optimist who thinks every problem can be solved with snacks or a fat joint.
Tina "T-Rex" Rodriguez (played by Bella Storm) – A no-nonsense roller derby champ with killer moves and an even deadlier sense of humor.
Randy "Rando" Baxter (played by Clive Murdock) – A conspiracy theorist who’s totally been waiting for something like this to happen.
MUNCH-E (voiced by Troy Dash) – A malfunctioning, wise-cracking AI snack vending machine who accidentally becomes their tactical strategist.
Officer Dwayne Burke (played by Terry Macklin) – A grumpy cop who’s just one day from retirement and doesn’t have time for "this slimy bullsh*t."
why you should watch
A ridiculous, laugh-out-loud adventure packed with over-the-top stoner humor.
Wild action sequences where blunts become weapons and bongs become flamethrowers.
A surprisingly heartfelt bromance at the core of all the chaos.
Killer soundtrack featuring Electric Luminaries, Echo, and Blaze Legion.
The first movie in Lumina City to feature a literal hot-boxed battle scene.
trivia
The slime effects were made using a combination of CGI and practical effects—some were literally made out of neon-colored Jell-O.
The original script was written during a weekend-long “creative retreat” (aka hotboxing a cabin in the woods).
MUNCH-E’s voice lines were mostly improvised, leading to some of the film’s funniest moments.
The actors were given real blunts during filming, leading to several improvised scenes that made it into the final cut.
The film’s premiere will include a BYO Blunt screening event in select theaters.
